Hi I'm Badri and I'm studying here at UK in London.I have a problem like every foreign student. I want to know how cheaply and reliably I can make phone calls to my home country India. A friend of mine has told me that there is a method, called voip or smth but I don't understand so much of these stuff. I have found in Internet a company like these - http://www.briing.com for cheap international calls but I'm not sure if it is reliable. Please if anybody use this kind of international calls, suggest me some good companies or other way to call to India. Thank you in advance. Badri

I think your friend might have been talking about Skype, which lets you make overseas calls for free (my sister uses it a lot because her husband lives in Kazakhstan, and it must be easy if she can use it!)

Yes I'd recommend skype, cannot live without it now... best of all you can get forwarding to your mobile so even have a local number in your own country divert to your mobile.... quite cheap also :)
